Our Programs
The Zion Conservatory of Music offers 3 tiers of study suited to different levels of commitment. Most kids and teens will start off in the Music Builders track, with adult students typically enrolling in the Music Enrichment program. Advanced students benefit from the rigor of the Music Certificate program. Read on to find the right fit for you or your family.
Music Certificate
A flexible, low-structure program focused on personal enjoyment and exploration. Students have freedom in how they study, with performance opportunities available but not required. This program is especially appropriate for those exploring music without long-term commitment or balancing significant outside responsibilities.
A structured but flexible entry point for students not yet ready for the rigor of the Certificate Program. Students are recognized through a year-end evaluation, with optional recital participation. Most students begin here and may transition into the Certificate Program upon teacher recommendation, though they may also remain in Music Builders long term.
This program still provides a viable path toward future grants and scholarships while allowing for a more personalized pace.
Music Enrichment
A structured, graded curriculum designed for students pursuing serious musical development. Students progress through divisions and sub-levels aligned with rigorous, internationally recognized standards, advancing through required performance exams and faculty recommendation at higher levels. The program also requires at least 2 recital performances per year.
This track can lead to a Zion Conservatory of Music Diploma of Graduation, including an optional Pre-Collegiate Diploma, and offers the strongest pathway for post–high school grants and scholarships.
